What units are covered in these classes?
English Composition I includes IEW Structure and Style® instruction through Unit 7, and English Composition II begins in Unit 7 and continues through Unit 9.
What are the course numbers?
The course numbers are as follows:
Southeastern English Composition I: ENGL 1223 (multiple sections offered, minimum of 10 students per section for class to “make”)
Southeastern English Composition II: ENGL 1323 (multiple sections offered, minimum of 10 students per section for class to “make”)

How is this class structured?
The class follows the video instruction (DVD or Forever Streaming) provided with your purchase of the Structure and Style for Students: Year 1 Level C Basic Plus package.
Is there a section that follows the IEW Online Class?
No, there will not be a specific section for IEW online students. Students may use assignments from IEW online but must carefully follow submission guidelines and directions in the Dual Credit course.
How are classes taught?
All classes are asynchronous, meaning that students can access course materials and submit their work through the university portals on their own schedule within a certain timeframe.

Live tutorials are available for additional support and guidance.
Credits earned from these courses are from reputable universities and can easily transfer.
There is a one-time membership fee of $50 to join CHI.
The tuition fee is $300 per semester.
The total cost for both classes and 6 credit hours is $650 at Donnelly and $825.00 at SEU.
Enrolling in the course does not include an online classroom component. Please note that optional online tutoring from either CHI or IEW incurs additional costs.
